2020 Open Enrollment – MCHCP

MCHCP requires proof of eligibility for covered dependents; for example, a birth certificate for your child or marriage license for your spouse. If you add dependents to your coverage during Open Enrollment, MCHCP must receive proof of eligibility by Nov. 20, 2019, or your dependents will not be added for coverage Jan. 1, 2020.

COBRA The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), a federal law, requires MCHCP to offer temporary coverage to members when coverage under the plan would otherwise end.
